Who are we?

Family First Studios isn't a real studio. But we do have cool desks from Ikea.

Maria writes freelance articles, personal essays, promotional copy, blog posts and web content. She also dabbles in design work. (See the shiny masthead?)

George shoots, edits and produces video content. Sometimes he color corrects digital photography and sculpts. He has a "real" job.

They're both pretty good at changing diapers.

How can we help you?

Looking for some extra help with your business website or blog? Maria specializes in social media marketing assistance for small and independent businesses.

Need compelling, fun copy? Or an extra set of eyeballs on your existing content? She can help with that too.

About Us

Ten years ago, George and Maria met at the University of Florida.  They talked about comic books, went on a bunch of dates, got married, made a bunch of music videos, attended a bunch of anime conventions, and then had a couple of kids.  A decade of collaboration has made them brutally honest with each other.  They make a great creative team, and love putting their talents to work for others.

George Mora made his first movie at the age of fourteen.  He began working as a professional videographer in high school and went on to complete his Master’s Degree in Digital Arts and Sciences at the University of Florida.  He enjoys shooting video, editing, producing motion graphics and animating professional titles.  He has also illustrated a series of books starring animated versions of himself, his wife, and his sons.  He likes ninjas, Rockband 2, and chips and salsa.

Maria Mora received her Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Florida.  As soon as she graduated, she started working with computers.  She took her love of all things Internet to the digital media industry, learning marketing and design on the fly.  Eight years later, after working with companies like Dell and Wal-Mart, she believes that small businesses have more heart and soul than the big guys.  She likes LOLcats, Halo 3, and snuggling her little boys.
